Youth Work

youth cafe

Youth Cafe is a group for young people (S4-S6), where they can connect with each other and with Jesus.

It’s a safe space where you can come as you are and explore who Jesus is, and whether you know anything about him or not, you are welcome! We love to have fun and encourage one another.

When we meet:

BIBLE STUDY: Friday from 3-4:30pm @ Bardowie Street Hall.

MONTHLY GATHERING: 3rd Tuesday of the month 7-9PM @ Bardowie St Hall.
We have snacks, play games and learn about Jesus through reading the Bible and discussing life issues through a Biblical perspective and praying for one another.

WORSHIP: Last Friday of each month 6PM @ Bardowie St Hall.
We meet for dinner and then travel to Bishopbriggs Community Church for an evening of worship. We arrive back to Possil around 10PM.

Seven to Three

Seven to Three is a youth club for those in P7-S3 to be with friends, have fun and grow in faith. No matter your religious background, we’d love to have you join us as we all get to know Jesus better together.

We hang out together playing games, sharing about life and discussing how God is present in our lives and how we can become closer to him through the way we live.

WHEN WE MEET

THURSDAYS 4:30-6PM @ Bardowie Street Hall.

Café volunteer programme

Our main purpose in the café that we run is to provide opportunities for people to train in barista skills, hospitality or even just gain some valuable practical work experience. One of the ways we do this is by offering a training programme for young people in S4-S6. Through this they get the opportunity to complete barista training and get valuable experience working in a real life café.

We also offer the opportunity to complete Community Achievement Awards level 5 & 6 through Glasgow Kelvin College. Young people will be expected to commit some of their own time to this usually either in an evening, weekend or school holidays.

If you would like further information about the volunteer programme please contact us.

Church Partnerships

The youth clubs at Clay Community Church operate in partnership with Bishopbriggs Community Church and St. John’s Church in Linlithgow through a variety of activities and events including weekends away and summer trips.
